The trademark was initially registered in the State Office of Industrial Property of the Republic of North Macedonia. The brand protected with the TM is a software applicable in the healthcare industry.
The system of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) gave us a very convenient and affordable opportunity to conduct only one registration procedure that gives protection to the trademark in all of the EU member states. Now the trademark owner can expand its business in the European Union with confidence that its IP rights are protected, but also that it will not breach any third-party intellectual property rights by marketing its product under its brand.
