Biography

Vladimir Boshnjakovski graduated on the Faculty of Law Iustinianus Primusin Skopje and holds a master’s degree in international and European law from the same faculty. His master thesis was centered on researching the international legal framework and case law on the rules of indirect expropriation in investor-state disputes.

During his studies, he was representing his university on various international competitions. He was awarded a scholarship by the German foundation Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and participated in two, four-month exchange programs in the United States. He spent six months working in the German Bundestag, as an assistant in the cabinet of the leader of one of the major parties. There, he also took a semester at the Humboldt University.

Mr. Boshnjakovski has a wide range of working experience in the legal, government and business sectors of the Republic of North Macedonia. He started his professional career in the office of a prominent intellectual property law attorney. From there we went on to work at the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, as a counsel for various industry sectors and foreign investment related issues. Prior to opening his own office, for four years he worked in one of the leading corporate law offices in the Republic of North Macedonia. There he had the chance to work on some of the major cases present in the Macedonian legal market.

Mr. Boshnjakovski has a long experience of working with domestic and foreign clients, especially from Germany and Austria. Clients can rely on him about civil and commercial law matters involving an international element, especially litigation and arbitration, corporate structuring, tax issues, contract negotiations issues, administrative and licensing procedures. He also has acquired significant experience in areas, such as personal data protection, micro financing and energy law.

He is proficient in English (TOEFL) and German (TestDAF), as well as the regional Slavic languages, and has working knowledge of the Russian and basic understanding of Albanian. He has published various articles in domestic and international law journals.
